How the work is carried out
Firelight Logic applies the Monterey Phoenix (MP) framework through Emergeneering™ — a structured methodology for examining how systems behave when their parts interact across conditions — and through MP Ember™, the platform for modeling, exploring, and analyzing that behavior.
The framework, the methodology, and the platform move teams from unexamined assumptions to a clearer, scenario-driven view of what the system still permits.
Why the work exists
Most systems are designed, reviewed, and tested with care. Failures still surface.
The system may do exactly what it was designed to do. When components, conditions, and decisions interact, it can still permit behaviors that were never anticipated. Those behaviors emerge in combinations no one considered together.
Our work exists to make that class of behavior visible — before it becomes a problem in operation.

Why the name “Firelight Logic”?
Firelight represents the age-old human work of gathering, sharing what is known, and discovering what is knowable.
Logic represents the disciplined human reasoning and scoped use of automation that turns insight into action.
The company name is that pairing: creativity and analysis, with tools that take the most time-consuming steps, so people can shape systems toward safer, more secure behavior that stays closer to intent. Much of the work runs through an intergenerational operating model: seasoned practitioners and rising talent on the same problem, so experience and wisdom transfer to the next generation while the analysis is produced.
